  • What is the earliest I can Check-in?

    We offer 24hr check-in subject to availability. Standard check-in time is 2pm.

  • Can I arrive late?

    Yes, please give us a call if arriving after 9pm. We offer 24hr check-in subject to availability.

  • Do you have undercover parking?

    No, every room has secure parking at the door.

  • Are your rooms non-smoking?

    Yes, all rooms at Motel Kempsey are non-smoking

  • Do you have a restaurant?

    No, sorry.

  • Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?

    Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi internet to all of our rooms.

  • Do you have an outdoor entertainment area?

    Yes, we have a garden BBQ area and pool.

  • How close are you to the shops?

    4 minutes by car to Woolworths, Big W, Target and Coles. The main street, with all locally owned stores is 3 minutes by car or a comfortable 20 minute walk.

  • How close are you to restaurants?

    We are within 4-5 minutes by car of number of restaurants and fast food outlets including McDonalds, Subway, Macleay Valley RSL, Domino’s Pizza, Chinese restaurants. Please visit Google Maps for a detailed list.

  • Do you have Foxtel?

    Yes, in all Deluxe Queen and Twin rooms with upwards of 50 channels.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to check in date and time. Cancellations received less than 24 hours, the full amount for the first cancelled night will be charged.

  • How do I guarantee my booking?

    Credit card details are required to secure room booking or a $200 cash bond.

  • Do you have a gym?

    No, sorry.

Security Bond Policy

At Motel Kempsey, we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all our guests. To ensure this, we may require a security bond under certain circumstances.

Standard Policy:

A security bond may be requested at check-in as a precautionary measure to cover potential damages, excessive cleaning, or other incidental costs incurred during the stay.


Exemptions:

Regular clients, corporate accounts, and guests with a history of positive stays may be exempt from this requirement, at the discretion of management.


Circumstances Requiring a Security Bond, including but not limited to:

New Guests or First-Time Visitors: A bond may be required for guests who are staying with us for the first time.

Inconsistent or Incomplete Payment Information: A bond may be required if there are discrepancies or concerns with the payment details provided during booking.


Non-Discriminatory Application:

The decision to require a bond is based solely on objective criteria and risk assessment related to the booking itself, and not on any personal characteristics of the guest (such as nationality, gender, etc.). This ensures that our policy is fair, transparent, and free from discrimination.


Bond Amount:

The amount of the bond will be communicated clearly at the time of booking or check-in. It is determined based on factors such as the length of stay, room type, and specific circumstances of the booking.


Refunds:

The security bond will be fully refunded upon a satisfactory inspection of the room at check-out, provided there are no damages, excessive cleaning requirements, or unpaid charges.
